Spent all day in a mediation yesterday. The other side opened with an offer that was substantially below the prior offer they made when the business guys were discussing things. Pissed my client off royally. They ended up increasing their offer by 6.5x, to actually slightly above what my client told me prior to the mediation they would take to resolve the matter. By that point, though my client was so mad that their requirements had increased, so we still are several hundred thousand dollars apart. smh
